Ingredients required for Gulab Jamun :

Making of Sugar Syrup:

2 cups Sugar

5 cups Water

1 tsp Milk

1/4 tsp Cardamom Seeds

1/2 tsp Saffron

1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

For Gulab Jamun Balls:

1 1/2 cups Khoya, grated

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1/2 cup Maida

1 tsp Milk

PREPARATION STEPS OF GULAB JAMUN :

1. Take the required amount of sugar and water in a deep pan. Stir
and bring to boil on high flame for sugar to dissolve.

2. Now add , add water and stirr the liquid gets thicker and later add
some cardamom powder to it it increases the aroma of the recipe .

3. The thickness of the juice is important for the recipe , because we immerse the dry balls into it so that it properly absorbs the sugar syrup .

4. After making the sugar syrup .We are upto making of the balls .

5. Take the powder of milk or available gulab jamun powder in the market .

6. Take few amount of milk and water adjust the quanitity of milk to the powder and start mixing

7. After that properly make it into the form of smooth dough .

8. Keep it a side by covering with a wet cloth on it . few moments later take it out and make round in shape balls in a medium size .

9. Make sure that the balls should be very smooth and neat without any cracks and also all in the same size .

10. After making them into balls ,Take a kadai and oil in it for the immersion of balls and making them fry a little bit .

11. Be careful while dropping the jamun balls into the oil and let them fry in the oil till they turn brownish golden colour and not more .

12. Make sure that all get fried in the same colour within amedium flame .

After all this frying process, let them cooled for few minutes and , later slowly put them in the sugar syrup that we have done before.
Few moments later the syrup is completely juiced into the dough balls and tastes so good to have them.
