I can’t believe I have never tried to make it before!!! *Using the spices required ,and mostly keeping the stove in high flame always will be disadvantageous for the spices , because that may cause loose the flavors and Essense for the dish . Just let the bowl heat after adding butter or ghee and put the flame in low , this helps in better cooking .

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED FOR MAKING OF DAL-MAKHANI ;
2 Cups Sabut urad dal
8 cups Water
2 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Ginger, sliced
2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Oil
2 tsp Shahi jeera
1 tsp Kasoori meethi
2 cups Tomato puree
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Sugar
1/2 cups Cream
For garnishing Green
EASY MAKING STEPS OF DAL-MAKHANI ;
1. If you follow all the tips to be remembered above you can get the
better results without any disturbances while preparing the dish .
2. To the soaked and kept dal, add water, 1 Tbsp salt and ginger.
Cook until dal becomes tender within s low flame.
3. In a heavy based pan, heat butter and oil.Then after, Add shahi
jeera and kasoori methi.
4. When they begin to splutter and make sure that they dont burn with
the high flame so that they loose flavours then , add tomato puree,
remaining salt, chilli powder and sugar.
5. Keep Stirring -fry over high flame, till the oil separates.
6. Add cooked dal and bring to boil in a low flame . The consistency
should be such that the dal should move around freely and thicker in
texture when stirred, otherwise add a little water if it is too thick or

till well blended. Stir-in cream and once it gets heated through, serve
immediately, garnished with green chillies and you also can add little
