Ileana was born on 1st of November 1986, in Mahim, Mumbai. She belongs to a Goan Catholic family. Ronaldo D’cruz and Samira D’cruz are her parents. When she was 10 they shifted to Parra, goa. She has 3 siblings; 2 sisters Eileen and Farrah D’cruz, Brother Rhys D’cruz.
At that time, when they were in Parra, her mother was a hotel manager. Because of which she had many acquaintances. One of her mother’s friends was actually mesmerized by Ileana’s smile and attire and suggested her to let her daughter have a career in Modeling.
In 2003 she did her first portfolio shoot and second in the following year. Soon after this, she received offers for brand FAIR AND LOVELY, EMAMI AND ELECTROLUX. IN 2005, she was summoned by director Teja for an audition, but the film was cancelled. So, she debuted in Telugu cinema with the movie Devdas. She was highly acclaimed for her role. She started getting roles for many Telugu films and was admired by Telugu audience.
In 2012 she made her debut with the hit movie BARFI. As like Telugu she received positive reviews by Hindi audience. Next, she did many Hindi films; Phata poster nikla hero, main tera hero, happy ending. Her best works in Hindi are RUSTOM AND RAID.
