Prabhas was born on 23 October 1979 in madras now Chennai, Tamil nadu, India who is an Indian actor known for his predominant work in Telugu industry.
Prabhas is the son of the film producer U SURYANARAYANA RAJU and Siva kumari. Prabhas has a brother , Prabodh and sister pragathi. He is the youngest of all his siblings.
He completed his schooling from DNR SCHOOL, bhimavaram. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from SRI CHAITANYA COLLEGE, HYDERABAD. Prabhas is the nephew of Prajapati Krishnam Raju.
Prabhas started his journey with debuting in the movie EESHWAR IN 2002 . in the next year he was in the main lead of the movie RAGHAVENDRA. Followed by the movie varsham in the next years. Varsham is a rom-com, which stars Trisha along with prabhas.
This is one of the best product of Telugu film industry which even holds the best music that still remains in the mind. varsham movie had a remake in Bollywood with the name BAAGHI, whish star shraddha Kapoor and tiger shroff.
From 2007 -2009 he established himself as an impressive performer and actor with his movies like Bujjigadu, yogi, pournami, munna, Ek Niranjan and the hit billa. All these, he maintained his voguish manner accompanied by the performance that people wanted.
Then in 2010, he acted in the Rom-com DARLING, along with kajal agarwal. This is a blockbuster hit. After the success of this movie, he was known with the name prabhas by his fans. Moreover, he calls his fans as darling.
He did many movies like MR. PERFECT, REBEL,MIRCHI TILL 2012.
In 2012 he signed the classical epic action BAHUBALLI THE BEGINNING . For this he dedicated his whole 5 years. This movie is directed by rajamouli and stars Rana daggubati, Anushka Shetty, tamannaah in the lead roles.
