She was born on 20 May 1978, in Bapatla Andhra Pradesh. Sri mamilla Venkateshwara Rao and Smt. Mamilla Kusuma kumari is her parents. She has 2 elder sisters.
She is brought up in Hyderabad and completed her schooling here itself. She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts and also the title of miss pageant of her college.
In 2002 at the age of 24, she was married to MVS Kishore, and she has a son with name nishchay. She resides in Hyderabad. She started her career with the television daily soap operas. Her first serial was PRIYA SAKHI which was so famous that she is been known with the same name till now. Priya O Priya, Lady Detective, Sangarshana, Pelli Chesukundam.
Jwaala, Dairy of Mrs Sharada, Kotha Bangaaram,Manasa, Chinna Kodalu, Kalyani are some of her Telugu serials. The latter one is the latest serial of her . yeh hai Zindagi is her Hindi debut serial.
She has hosted some programs like santoor top 10, Geetanjali and Enduro Mahanubhavulu. Geethanjali is a music-based program and the last one is a head talk with the celebrities of Telugu movie industry.
