Arjun was born on 26 June 1985, in Mumbai to the film producer boney Kapoor and his first wife MONA SHOURIE KAPOOR. Mona is an entrepreneur. As boney Kapoor married SRIDEVI, so he is the stepson of her and half brother to Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor. Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor are Arjun’s uncles.

He did his schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai. Unfortunately, Arjun failed in his 11th grade. He didn’t pursue again for the same thing, in contrast, he quit studying.

He worked as assistant director from 2003. In 2012 he was signed for the movie ISHAQZADEE STARRED OPPOSITE PARINEETI. Both the male and female artists won the award for their debut. This is a national award-winning film.
