Basmathi Rice or normal 2 cups
Clove 2 or 3
Black peppercorns 5 or 6
Cinnamon 1 inch
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Ghee 1 tablespoon
Salt 2 tablespoon
Kewra essences 4 to 5 drops
Fish 500 gm
Curd 2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon Turmeric powder
Garam Masala powder 1 tablespoon
Salt as per taste
lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Oil 3 tea spoon
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
Green chilli 2 halfed
Tomato 1 cup chopped.
1/4 cup onion sliced and fried in oil
Cashew nuts 8-10 fried
Saffron 1 pinch soaked in water
Mint 3 tablespoon , chopped
Coriander 3 tablespoon, chopped
Ghee 2 tablespoons.
1. Wash and soak the rice for half an hour. Drain the water and all the ingredients into it which are mentioned for rice along with 4 cups of water.
2. cover it and cook until it is half cooked
3. Meanwhile, take curd, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and lemon juice into the bowl. Now coat the fish pices and keep it aside for 20 min.
4. Heat oil are onion and fry till they are slightly browned, add ginger garlic paste and green chilli and fry till they are nicely browned.
5. Now add tomatoes and half cup water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Now add the soaked fish pices cook them until masala is done with the fish.
7. On the top now add rice, fried onions,nuts and coriander and mint leves , finally pour ghee upon the rice.
8. Cover it with a tight lid and cook iow flame for 25-30 min. Our fish biryani is done.
