Diana Mariam kurian popularly known as Nayanathara was born on 18th November 1984. She was born on Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She was born to a Malayali Christian family, her parents were Kurian Kodiyattu and Omana Kurian. As her worked in air force majority of her studies were done in different states of India, mostly she completed her Secondary education in North India and then she had done her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Marthoma college in Thiruvalla.
Nayanathara had relationship with Silambarasan, but they broke up after few years. Then she fell in love with Prabhudeva, they decided to get marry also but in the year 2010 Prabhudeva wife filed a petition in family court. In 2012 Nayantara confirmed that their relation broke up and there is no more ration between them. Then in year 2015 she married Vignesh Shivan. She embraced Hinduism in Arya samaj temple, Chennai. And in that ceremony her name changed to Nayanathara and that name became her official name.
Nayanathara film career
During her college days she used to do modeling as part time, once a director her gone through her models and approaches to do play a role in film. Her debut film was Manassinakkare in Malayalam. She works in Tamil, Telugu , Kannada and Malayalam films. Her first introduction in Tamil industry was the file named Ayya , that was a sensational debut to her . While working in that only she had accepted her first telugu film Chandramukhi which had also given her a good hit.
She then worked for more Telugu and Tamil films. In the year 2010 all her films, in which she played the lead role were turned to big success in her career. She had 5 hits from four southern industry’s. She has also won few awards such as film fare, Vijay award etc….She had attracted people through her acting and her involvement in the roles.
