She was born in narsaraopetta in Guntur district. She was introduced to the telugu film industry by m.keeravani. Her first film was vengamamba in 2009.
Most of her songs are popular in telugu films. Ramya behra is youthful and mesmarising vocalist of telugu film industry. Some of her albums are , Aashiqui2, Bahubali-The begining, Bahubali-The conclusion, om namovenkatesaya , mallesham, bhramotsavam, size zero and many more but these are very much popular amongst Song “undipo”is top most of her
