Santhosh made his debut with Gaddam Gang, the telugu remake of Tamil film Soodhu Kavvum. He had his Tamil debut with Hara hara mahadevaki starting Gautham karthik. He directed and other film with Gautham Karthik named Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu , which is an adult horror film.

This film had given him a good success, so, due to that reason he had dubbed the same film in Telegu with the title as Chikati Gadilo chithakotudu. With that success he has been the production on the sequel of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu 2 starring himself in the film. And in 2018 he started a film titled Theemai Dhaan Vellum with Gautham karthik bit stopped due to few reasons. His upcoming film includes a thriller pulanaivu starring Arvind swami.
