She had completed her graduation or college from Ethiraj College for women Chennai She is a film actress, model and also an anchor in Tamil industry. She earns her income through movies. She belongs to Hindu religion, and her height is 5 feet. She is married to Sanjay and she currently stays in Chennai.

Shalu Shamu has appeared on screen for the ” Kaadhal Mannan” in the year 1998 , she had played as a child artist along with Ajith kumar one of the famous actor in Tamil industry. She had appewrein the lead role for the film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam in the year 2013. That was one of her best performed movie and that film was the best film of the year.
